NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING WATERLOO TOWNSHIP. JACKSON COUNTY

NATURAL  BEAUTY ROAD. MINERAL EXTRACTION OF GREEN ROAD

The Township Board of Waterloo Township will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday. April 9. 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Waterloo Township Hall. 9773 Mt. Hope Road. Munith. Ml 49259 to consider and hear public comment concerning the closure of the eastern 4.144 feet of Green  Road.  a  natural beauty road. to allow Aggregate  Industries to mine.  extract.  and haul the sand. gravel. stone. and dirt from the closed portion of the roadway. This project would have significant impacts on the trees and native vegetation within the right-of-way.

For those unable to attend the hearing to present their verbal comments. written comments can be submitted to Waterloo Township. 9773 Mt. Hope Road. Munith. Ml 49259. For consideration at the hearing. all comments must be received prior to the hearing date. For additional information. please call the Township Hall at (517) 596-8200.

Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services should contact the Waterloo Township  Clerk at  least  four  (4)  days  in  advance  of the  meeting  to make arrangements for meaningful attendance.
